Maria and some of the children who recieived gifts

Blessed To Give Back
Giving is an important part of living. The children at the Hogar Escuela Adventista (HEA) children’s village in El Salvador have received so much from sponsors and donors. Baptisms In India
Lily Kaligithi, the director of the Sweet Home Children’s Village in India, last month sent us this message. Recent events carried great meaning for her and she was pleased to send us this report.

“[In February] five of our children were baptized. I was very happy to see them walk into the baptismal. Please pray that they will remain faithful to their covenant with the Lord. I really give a big value to this wonderful event.

“All the kids are doing well. They are busy preparing for their examinations.

“Thank you for your prayers.

“With best wishes, Lilly”

What’s In This Month’s Qué Pasa?
In the March 2015 Qué Pasa, Kent Greve writes a personal message about the obstacles that the directors of our projects encounter. Following is an excerpt:

“For many years Samilin and her husband have directed this special children’s project in the Dominican Republic. It’s your generous gifts that continue to keep this project moving forward in the face of many challenges. Samilin is grateful for the support she receives. Yet, sometimes, in fact, many times there just aren’t enough funds to meet all the needs of all of the children…”

ICC Logo None of this work would be possible without those who have committed their efforts to saving and changing the lives of “His Kids.” The children of ICC want to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for making a difference in their lives.

Occasionally when we call for funds for a specific need we receive more in donations than we requested. In those instances when we have received more money than we solicited, those funds will be placed in “Alcyon’s Angel Fund.”
