Modern Miracle For An ICC Child
Each person born to this planet is celebrated by God. When He can provide a gift to one of us He will do so. No one is more deserving of these gifts than children.

Witnessing first-hand a child receiving the miracle of one of His gifts is a life-changing experience. Events such as these are an important reason ICC cares for children who desperately need those miracles.

The eye-witness account related in the following story will show you just how wonderful and life-affirming are God’s gifts to us.

Fred Flintstone Would Feel At Home
Remember how Fred Flintstone would propel his rock-wheeled vehicle with his feet? Well, we have a van at Las Palmas with similar capabilities.

I’m sure you would agree that a van with holes in the floor large enough for your entire leg is not a good thing. Especially since it has to be used to transport children!

You can solve this ‘prehistoric’ problem by contributing to a matching-grant fund to replace this exhausted car. I think 414,660 miles is enough for one van, don’t you?

Get the details at the following link. Help us retire this vehicular fossil and establish a new age of safe transportation at Las Palmas.

ICC Children’s Village Survives Drought
Surviving an extended and brutal drought is no simple task. Having the resources in place to ensure minimal impact from the drought’s effects is vital.

The summer of 2014 saw a devastating drought grasp Central America in a killing grip. Crops, and cattle by the thousands, withered and died in the arid oven that afflicted Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Fuente de Vida, ICC’s Children’s Village in Nicaragua was spared from the drought’s devastation while being surrounded by farmers and ranchers who’s crops and cattle were ravaged by the absent rain.

It was because of the well that Fuente de Vida has on its property. This well provides the water for the campus, the families, the crops and the dairy herd. The principle that each of ICC’s children’s villages strive to be as self-sufficient as possible spared the campus from significant harm.

So much so that Fuente de Vida was able to provide water for families and farms in the surrounding community as their water ran out.

It is your continued, generous support and the lesson of selflessly helping others, that shows the ICC children and families that it is important that they extend generosity to their local communities in times of need. Thanks for all you do for “His Kids!”

Telling The ICC Story
Using regional magazine ads, ICC is able to tell the story of our ministry to a greater number of people. The present instrument for this outreach is the “Gleaner,” the monthly news magazine published by the North Pacific Union Conference of the SDA Church. The “Gleaner” covers the northwest region of the U.S.

ICC Logo None of this work would be possible without those who have committed their efforts to saving and changing the lives of “His Kids.” The children of ICC want to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for making a difference in their lives.

Occasionally when we call for funds for a specific need we receive more in donations than we requested. In those instances when we have received more money than we solicited, those funds will be placed in “Alcyon’s Angel Fund.”
