The “We Care Campaign” is for helping orphans in 18 countries have a home and family. Your group will grow closer to God and to each other, as you do fun activities together that will make a difference for “His Kids!”
In 2005 a Youth Leader from Washington State found out about ICC when a woman in his church handed him the book “A Leap of Faith” written by Alcyon Fleck, founder of ICC. He read the book in two days, couldn’t put it down, and began thinking about how he could get his youth group involved in raising money to help the orphans. The youth in the class brain-stormed many fun activities, took charge of different activities and thus was born the “We Care Campaign in a Box.”
• T-Shirt designs
• ICC donation tin can labels for spare change
• Sponsor forms for Bowl-a-thon
• Parent permission forms
They kicked off their 2006 2nd Annual “We Care Campaign” with a Free Prayer Breakfast to raise awareness and invited ICC’s Asst Development Director, Liana St. Clair to be the keynote speaker. Church elders prepared the food and youth served guests.
In 2006, this group has already exceeded what they raised last year in the first weekend with the Prayer Breakfast and a church offering. How exciting as they are currently launched into their fun activities for the campaign.
Other fun activities include:
• 25 Hour Prayer Vigil & Fast - Activites to keep youth going for 25 hours
• Concert
• Car Wash
• Door to Door and more
• Leaders - How does the We Care Campaign work?
• Youth - Are you ready to show you care?
• What does it take to sponsor a child?
• Sign up for a We Care Campaign Package
• Request We Care Campaign Info & DVD
• Find out more about ICC, contact us
• Donate
We hope and pray that hundreds, even thousands of groups around the world – will partner with ICC to help “His Kids!” One group can make a difference! Imagine if groups all across America and in Europe participate in a We Care Campaign what a difference young people could make in the lives of orphaned and abandoned children.
