Thai Village Homes Project

In early 1996 word reached ICC through Merilyn Beveridge that a tribal group in Thailand had 40 orphans that needed to be cared for. Informataion also came that these children were subject to raiders from the tourist cities of Thailand, who were kidnapping the children for the sex trade there. To protect the children, the Singapore chapter raised $5,000 to build simple homes for them.
