	Saved and Fed! Jalani, a tiny orphaned boy, was slowly wasting away in an African refugee camp. But thanks to your support, Jalani was given a second chance at life in an ICC Children’s Village! 	Dear ICC Family I remember three brothers at the El Oasis Children’s Village. These boys had lost their parents. Before coming to El Oasis, four-year-old Miguel would go out into the local village and scrounge for food in the city dump or wherever he could get food. He would bring it back to his younger brothers so they could eat. It should have been no surprise that at the end of their first meal at El Oasis, the two older brothers took food from the table and quickly hid it under their beds. They didn’t yet know that you and other generous donors were going to make sure they had enough food! 	Presidents Note As many of you know by now, my mother, Alcyon Fleck, passed away on Memorial Day 2015. Next month we’ll share about her life and the impact she has had on the lives of orphan children. But you’re part of our family. I wanted to let you know of her passing. 	None of this work would be possible without those who have committed their efforts to saving and changing the lives of “His Kids.” The children of ICC want to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for making a difference in their lives. Occasionally when we call for funds for a specific need we receive more in donations than we requested. In those instances when we have received more money than we solicited, those funds will be placed in “Alcyon’s Angel Fund.”
