For a number of years (maybe 10?) we sponsored a boy at Los Pinos orphanage in Guatemala. His name—Arturo.*

In February of 2011 we were privileged to spend four weeks in Guatemala with Gary Bartholemew of the Water 4 Life organization. While at ICAP (next door to Los Pinos), we asked if anyone knew Arturo. They did and called him to come from Guatemala City to meet us.

What a joy to meet the boy we had sponsored all those years. Arturo is now out of school and living with his brother in Guatemala City. As you can imagine, he was happy to meet us as well.

We are thankful the Lord gave us a foretaste of heaven—we will meet all those whom we have been privileged to help while on earth.
